Looking for recommendations for books with trans protagonists (pawb.social)

I've been going to a queer book club, and we're currently looking for books with trans characters to read next month.

Ideally we'd like a standalone book (not part of a series), and a story where trans identity is a significant part of it.

If you're okay with a graphic novel, I recommend Nimona: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimona

Also has an animated movie adaptation.

    So I watched the animation a couple years back and thought it was great - I didn't make the trans connection though!
