I would definitely agree. Despite our differences, we all have one thing in common. We don't like being deceived by those who build the frontends we use. We trust our credentials to these people and trust they aren't going to screw us over. He violated that trust and people are right to be pissed about it.

It's true, we usually spend most of our time hating eachother for not being the right kind of leftist. This has been a united front as far as I've seen.

Hell, it's the first time I've seen everyone open to reasonable discussions of ideas like his in a long time. By setting up a boundary that everyone vocally agrees is unacceptable suddenly there's a sense of trust that people aren't all rushing towards it.
