Interesting article about Medhurst and his use of GrapheneOS. Apparently he failed to turn off his phone before UK police boarded his plane and seized it from him, but the auto reboot feature protected his data and sources. The article also mentions that he's now in the process of writing a massive guide to security and privacy for journalists.

The auto reboot is on an 18 hour timer in graphene and iirc a 72 hour timer in ios.

You can set it to different timers in Graphene. I have my timer set at 5 hours I think, so it always restarts when I'm sleeping

E: There's also timers for WiFi and Bluetooth to turn off when they're not in use (in the range of a few minute to hours) which is neat too
