Also, I find the fact that The Return has an opening that is the polar opposite of this film quite interesting. An orchestral score, a quieter and better balanced sound mix, longer shot lengths, stable camerawork, less claustrophobic cinematography with brighter and wider shots, distinct separation of scenes through the use of nature shots, etc. It's a completely different style of film-making and one I definitely prefer.
