Some people need to go, for family etc. I agree that we should rapidly try to cut all ties and get everyone out who we want to save before it's too late.

My wife came with me recently for my mother's funeral. My wife is not a US citizen or resident or anything. I was worried, but it went fine.

I wouldn't recommend visiting if you can avoid it, but sometimes people have very strong motivations and have to take the risk of being brutalized by this fascist country. 😞
