You seem to have missed my take on this as expressed in my second sentence.
You might find another take on this relevant in "Fur and Loafing in Yosemite" where a character named Velma Melmac attempts this approach to forest management. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farley_(comic_strip). Trump has in the last couple of years literally complained that California wasn't managing to clean its forest floor properly in reference to wildfires there, suggesting that he completely missed the point of having the Velma character in that cartoon.
Then again, maybe humor is too alien for you. Lighten up.
Your reference is so opaque it didn't even come across as a reference. Especially as your second sentence is a common phrase albeit worded slightly differently.
