It was pretty good! I sat next to a high-school aged kid who seemingly knew nothing about the odyssey yet was arguably the hypest person in the theater going "lets-fucking-go LET'S GOO" whenever they blinded the poor cyclops and was angry as hell at Telemachus (he literally shouted 'DO SOMETHING' during the contest fight) & as a result my experience was heightened.

Definitely recommend seeing it on the biggest screen you can; I went to my local museum's imax which can do 1.43:1 and it was great. There are several scenes where I felt like I was on the damn ship.

No cyclops dong but I was blessed with one ass thanks to Circe my beloved.....

I liked it a lot more than I expected! I didn't have a big interest in seeing this, but I had the opportunity and I'm glad I did.

Saw it on 70mm film, not IMAX, and it was really nice to see on film. Projectionist fucked up a couple times on some transitions and cut off some dialogue/caused a tiny skip, but it was negligible and not a big deal.

Helmets looked flimsy as hell and like clear props and that took me out of it, but things were much better once everyone lost them. Also not a big deal.

First Nolan movie I've seen in theaters since Inception, and this was definitely better than Inception. Movie would have been even better with Cyclops dong though, huge disappointment there.

Jealous!! I would kill for a theater that does 70mm projection near me. I did consider driving out to the nearest one like 3-4 hours away but it was sold out months ago and the screen I did see it on was 1.43:1 anyways so I wasn't missing out on much besides it being digital vs film. Dune 3 though....

I thought the same thing the entire time during the Underworld scene. Real ecoterrorist moment when the shades pop out of the ground with those dumbass helmets lol
