Which seems kinda crazy because wasn't the internet absolutely glazing Christopher Nolan just a couple years ago?
I still like his Dark Knight trilogy, and Inception is still fairly original.
That was before he cast a black woman to play "the face that launched a thousand ships" and a trans man to play... well, anyone, really.
It's just all stupid culture war bullshit.
Ah. Then I'll continue to enjoy his movies.
Not really. He's not as overrated as he used to be. People have started seeing through his Grand visuals combined with a heavy score. He's being heavily criticised for not able to write female characters.
I've had Christopher Nolan in the "Hit or miss" category since Interstellar and Dunkirk. Interstellar was so shit
