I've had this done to my face. Usually from ethical ENM people lecturing me on how my monogamy is destroying society and oppressing me and everyone around me and I'm an unethical person if I only want to date monogamously.

I usually just no longer interact with such people, but that's just me.

    Genuinely, I tried dating someone who was poly. Watching her kiss someone else hurt in a way that I can never fully describe. I understand that that's a me issue and not a her issue. But I can't do it. My heart just doesn't work that way.

    My ex used poly as a way to shop for a replacement. Watching him introduce the guy to our favorite places, start prioritizing him over me… it fucked me up. My 30th birthday and he was with him.
