No. MAGA knows Trump sucks. They just hope he sucks more for lgbtq, brown people, and the "poor". Capitalism is all about power. As long as you have more power than another demographic everything will be fine.
MAGA would let Trump shit in their mouth if it meant a 'librul' had to smell it.
They don't give a shit about anything other than harming outgroups - they will, as they have repeatedly, throw throw themselves on the sword if doing so helps them accomplish evil shit.
Quite possible that they adjust their behaviour in that direction to justify never admitting being wrong
For my local family, the observation is they support it because they want harm for other citizens. They hate each other so much that they would as soon cut their own noses off to spite their face.
