Its not a freely open forum anylonger permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] AIBrainiac@lemmy.world [S] 11 points 2 months ago Yeah it makes sense now. I think the reason for the ban is that they want people to circle jerk on their own platform. So they don't want links to outside domains, which is what my subreddit did. permalink fedilink source parent [–] chicken@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 2 months ago If they do care, you probably just don't see it because of the censorship permalink fedilink source parent [+] badgermurphy@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent [–] mojofrododojo@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (1 child) it's crazy that after the mod purge you're just now realizing they can do that. everyone who would care was purged years ago. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] AIBrainiac@lemmy.world [S] 1 point 2 months ago fair point.. but unfortunately many communities i follow are only on reddit.. the alternatives are just not big enough also.. i think this monopoly can only be broken with government funding.. i can't think of any other solution permalink fedilink source parent
