Good news! I saw a goose-neck device holder on rednote last night that clips to a headboard! I don't have a headboard... But if I did!
I bought one of those but my headboard is dummy thicc and can't be contained by the clip. ๐

My partner has one with a stand that works well for an iPad and one that holds books, too.
Stay away from any of them that have smooth plastic shield on the gooseneck part though. Those are some kind of pliable metal that fatigues and breaks pretty quickly. The ones with spiral metal wrapped around it have held up so far
