Yeah, I don't see why not. Generally, Ubuntu is a good choice for revitalizing older hardware, kinda giving stuff that would be outdated and useless a new lease on life. I'm running it on a Toughbook CF-33 and a desktop that is probably 10 years old as well. Both are perfectly usable.
