Oh, boy, it's hard to pick one. I've had some, and I keep a diary. Here's one I found especially memorable for its bizarreness, though:

Long description collapsedI was watching a movie of horror vignettes, similar to those of the V/H/S series. This particular vignette took place in an Alpine town in Europe. This particular vignette centered around a group of eight young adults who were visiting a group of log cabins on the outskits of the town, on a high hill, to investigate an urban legend about them. The legend said that if eight people all came to these log cabins and vandalized them together, then the cabins would extract their revenge by gruesomely killing the vandals by manipulating the environment to cause Final Destination-style deaths that appeared to be freak accident. Seven of the group vandalized the cabins by hacking at the walls or splashing paint on them, but at the last moment, they decided against having the eighth one do his act of vandalism. At some point they'd come to believe in the legend, and they decided they'd get a thrill out of exploiting a loophole to "get away with" vandalizing the cabins. This plan was undone, however, when one of them tripped over a paint can and accidentally spilled paint on one of the buildings. This accident apparently counted as vandalism, and the characters were quickly and gruesomely killed off.

This wasn't the end of the cabins' revenge, though - for one reason or another, this time they'd decided to go far beyond their usual vengeance and somehow triggered a massive glacier melt at the mountain's peak. This melt released vast, outright impossible quantities of water, enough that most of the world's landmass was flooded. I specifically remember the entire Great Plains falling underwater, along with around half of France and Germany. Humanity lost much of its population and infrastructure and was forced to build extensively at higher elevations and in particular into mountains, though it was able to maintain a modern industrial existence.

In the now vastly expanded oceans, though, dolphins had claimed the sites of humanity's old ruins and established a vast oceanic empire with advanced technology. This empire was cruel and species supremacist; sharks were enslaved and humiliated by high-status dolphins, plans were being drawn to attack the surface and subjugate the remaining humans, and a kidnaped human baby was being kept in deplorable and filthy conditions, though having known no other life, it had no frame of reference for how awful its situation was.

The dream then cut to a busy airport in the Alps when the dolphins started their attack. It turned out that the humans had prepared for this and heavily fortified the cliff edges along the shore with bunkers, gun batteries, and soldiers ready to deploy. The dolphin attackers were in four-legged, crawling "mech suits" that allowed them to operate on land. People in the airport began to panic and try to escape, knowing that if they were captured they would be enslaved, a panic that only got worse as the battle turned against the humans.

At this point the dream shifted, bizarrely, to a tactical wargame where I was given control of the human forces including tanks, infantry, and artillery. However, the dolphin forces were statistically so much better than my own that, despite similar numbers on each side, I got the sense that the scenario was completely impossible for me. At this point, I lost my patience and started complaining about how "the dolphins in this story" were clearly a "creator's favorite" and I was going to "write my own version of the story that fixes this." This was the point when I woke up.
