It does include the Rockies and I think Tahoe so D and A is a tough choice. I do have a good friend in the UP who Im going to see in a couple weeks and the great lakes are pretty cool ngl.

Agreed, it's one of the most gorgeous areas of the US in the Summer/Early Fall. Nearly 200 inches of average snowfall per year, though. A capable 4x4 Vehicle would have to be part of the deal. Or at the minimum, some snowshoes.
