Yes those are their actual names, after the backlash they never appeared in published comic(these are from sneak peaks at a then unreleased new New Warriors series) apparently their origin involved inhaling 'internet gas'
I remember seeing a video about this. The designs of these 2 aren't the worst thing in the world but the names are so bad lmao. It's the perfect corporate 
while having no understanding whatsoever of these words and how they were/are used. It feels like out of touch at best and parody at worst.
