So, I'm starting a bit of sampling for a study on fediverse et al. Every time I see someone say something hateful, dumb and or reprehensible seems to come from shitjustworks - do you have any insight into why? Are you folks paid trolls? Or do you go around spreading malice for free? Do you reckon I'm wrong and its not just your instance? If so, any suggestions as to where else should I go looking?

    Are you sampling more than just shitjustworks? If we're all paid trolls I'm not doing a very good job at either... I've seen shit from a bunch of different servers, but is blaming a particular server a good way to be? Seems like that would be a vote in favour of centralization.

    Is it normal for people to pay attention to what domain users are from and not just focusing on the user and the content?
