I made a blender model and animation of this thing I experienced to show how it looks like and moves, and to use that as a way to find out if someone knows what it is, where or why. I don't know much more and am wondering what others know based on their encounters. It's somewhere at some time, seems huge. The discs are flattish and don't reflect light other than from the edges. I've tried posting in a few communities and get mostly aggravated answers, or overtly focusing on how I got this knowledge (almost like I've done something forbidden when it's not an aspect I care about), and one got modded hidden.

Fuck moderation and psycho rules, it's rule creep and over zealous moderation that destroyed Reddit (among other things)- Mods adding more and more rules to a sub to keep it "pure" until nobody posts shit anymore because nothing fits and nobody can be arsed to read a three page TOS contract just to post a fucking image.

It'll kill this place too.

Moderation should be for spam and conduct breaking. If the users of a sub vote and interact on a post, even if only maybe tangentially related, it clearly fits, and should be left alone.

Forums are meant for discussion, they aren't archives or some kind of abstract sorting exercise.

Thanks for coming to my old man yelling at clouds talk.

Per Wikipedia:

Gnosticism (from Ancient Greek γνωστικός (gnōstikós) 'having knowledge'; Koine Greek: [ɣnostiˈkos]) is a collection of different religious and philosophical ideas and systems that fully developed by the mid-2nd century among sects of early Christianity and other faiths. It is not a singular, homogeneous tradition or religion, but an umbrella term used by modern scholars to describe different groups and beliefs that shared certain characteristics. These diverse Gnostic groups generally emphasized personal spiritual knowledge (gnosis) above the authority, traditions, and proto-orthodox teachings of organized religious institutions.

TLDR: be spiritual; but also as weird as possible

Rule 0: Don't be a dick.
