A place to share alternatives to popular online services that can be self-hosted without giving up privacy or locking you into a service you don't control.

This is the way. It's a local application though, but then again, I don't see why you'd want to server-host this in the first place. Sync the database via Syncthing or Nextcloud and you're good to go.
