How do you feel about audiobooks? (lemmy.world)

A pretty vague question I know, but I'm not looking for any specific answer. I'm just curious what peoples thoughts are on audiobooks. Perhaps how you think they compare to paper books or how listening compares to reading. Any thoughts you have on the subject is welcome.

I don't do them myself, but for some friends they're the only way they read or consume books, so i'm fine with them as it lets us discuss the same books.

Also, some folks with disabilities have an easier time if reading small text is hard.
