If you want to have real fun with them ask them why they are so against socialism when it's already practised every day for corporations. LLCs are a socialist compatible idea, so are bail outs and debt restructuring. How come they're always fine with it then? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] MyVeryRealName@lemmy.world 1 point 3 months ago (2 children) How are LLCs, bailouts, and debt restructuring socialist compatible ideas? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] go_go_gadget@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago (1 child) Their point is people always justify corporate bailouts because of some social good. But then turn around an act appalled when you suggest taking out the corporate middle man and just providing services directly to the people. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] MyVeryRealName@lemmy.world 0 points 3 months ago I'm fine with the government serving the people as long as it doesn't hold a monopoly. permalink fedilink source parent
