Two times I was sitting, barely moving, just scrolling on my phone. The other time I was just dog walking when a piece of shit landed on my neck, stung me and flew away happily (I assume). No. They are, while useful, still scum. Edit: Did you know they love to eat your callus? They take a seat on your toes and start to munch. The only time they stung us was when my son was spraying them with the pressure washer.
