Bbq Sausage, not a frankfurt, slice of buttered white bread, a yes/no on the onions, choice of tomato/bbq/mustard sauce.

You cook the onions alongside the sausage, in case that wasn't clear. Don't add raw onions.

The mix of fatty butter with the acidic sauce, all heated up by the fresh snag! Its the best combo! Mouth watering!

Mostly 'sausage sizzle' refers to the event at which the food item is prepared and eaten, but supposedly some in Western Australia also call the food item that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sausage_sizzle
