Am i the only one who thinks that using "Google it" instead of "search it" or "look it up" is problematic? (lemmygrad.ml)

There are so many search engines out there and even chat bots to get info from. I refuse to let Google monopolize an action.

It is, just as so many brand names have become the colloquial term for a thing.
