Why would you want bigger balls? They're already obnoxious enough at normal size.
Terrible design. The most pain sensitive part of your body. In front. In a sack of skin. In a natural pinch-point...
If balls were in the back they'd be harder to guard, if they were less sensitive we'd care less about guarding them. Agree about making them bigger though.
