I'm sure she'd be better than whatever the centrists serve up, but if any of you are aware of how she's presented in her international appearances, she needs a shit-ton of polish if she wants to make a serious run.

The Dems need a Mamdani to run. Not a Greasy Gavin. Not that Israel plant Shapiro. Not that shit-eating billionaire JB Pritzker. Most certainly not Kamala Harris.

A Mamdani.

    Only problem is her idea of polishing is going farther right and distancing from anything that would make her actually electable to be more like Kamala or Schumer

    First off, let's just no longer use the term 'electable'. Democrats clearly have no idea what's electable.

    Mamdani and Platner aren't 'electable'.

    The winning formula is not to go further right. It's to tout affordability and mean it; However, you are correct in that the Democrats aren't going to let anyone who actually cares about the cost of living within sniffing distance of the presidency.
