This is of course an appeal to vote for better Democrats in primaries. Turnout makes a huge difference, since most people don't vote in primaries

Yeah ... if they don't prosecute the fuck out of it, abusing every rule possible to do so, then the fascists will be back in the next election.

And the stupid, short-memory voters will be (justifiably) unhappy with the status quo, and they'll stupidly vote for 'different' ... which means voting the fascists back in.
