He told the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion he was embraced by the LGBTQIA+ community when he came out as gay as a teenager, but the experience was markedly different when he told loved ones of his religious conversion.

"When I began the process of telling people that I was embarking on this Jewish journey, I lost a significant number of friends,"

"It was quite horrific actually."

Benjamin F said he no longer felt safe in "progressive" circles and spaces, with his former friends calling him Jewish slurs and labelling him a supporter of genocide.

The Royal Commission is about anti Semitism, not about the Bondi massacre. Anti Muslim sentiment has been around as long as anti Semitism and it has resulted in the deaths of Muslims at the hands of an Australian on New Zealand soil: 51 dead and 89 wounded in 2019.

You saying this on the day we got back a group of Muslim terrorists who committed crimes against humanity including an actual genocide against the Yazidi’s is timely.

The 'ISIS brides' who are Australian and their children who are also Australian have returned and are prepared to face the law. Would you have the same contempt for returned Australians who have served in the IDF and have committed war crimes directly or indirectly?

No matter who kills civilians with bloodlust is involved in crimes against humanity. All must be brought to justice no matter who they are.

    No matter what the purported reason for the royal commission, it is about anti Semitism which had been growing anyway as an effect of the war crimes being committed in Gaza by Israel. Although there are Jews who do not see Zionist Israel as representing them, they sadly still have to pay the price for the horrendous violence committed against Palestinians (and now the Lebanese) by the IDF because most people don't have enough knowledge about the detail.

    Islam is no more violent than any other Abrahamic religion which consists of Jews, Christians and Muslims. They have all been involved in battles, wars and crimes against humanity amongst themselves and against other groups or tribes. And, they have all owned slaves taken from defeated groups or purchased from slave markets. If you read the Old Testament you will find that for yourself not only about slave ownership but about Hebrew tribes being told by 'God' to go slay this or that other tribe or by their leaders such as David. There was tribal fighting in the Middle East long before Islam was established. They all behaved according to the times. There are plenty of instances for the crimes and also the noble deeds of these groups.

    We do not know all about Jesus but we do know that he was a Jew and that he was not a milksop. As you will probably know, he started shouting, upturning tables and whipping merchants he saw trading at the synagogue. It is thought he was crucified by the Romans because neither they nor the Jewish people in power liked anyone who might provoke a rebellion (and there were plenty of people in the Holy Land who wanted to get rid of the Romans). As to early Christians, who were a Jewish sect, they didn't go around massacring etc because they were a small group and the Roman Empire was very big and very brutal. Christians were considered to be arsonists as well as inferior and superstitious (sound familiar?)

    Anyway, we could go on about this for pages. I will resist responding to your posts though I won't promise it.

    Funny you say that, on top of the ISIS brides who just came back, look what came up yesterday:

    The Australian Federal Police (AFP) alleges the men, aged between 19 and 29, had been "actively engaging" in sharing ISIS-inspired material.

    Adian Sarwari, Azan Syed, Mohammad Ahmadzai and Sulaiman Sarwari today appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court where they were all granted bail in separate hearings.

    ikt you are seriously racist, you know very little history, and you are using bits from my response to suit your bigotry. There has been Christian terrorism (do an online search) throughout history and lethal wars between Catholics and Protestants. I can't be bothered doing a history lesson here for someone who only wants his prejudice reinforced.

    Islam is not a race, it's an ideology

    It's funny how when I say I hate Nazism nobody calls me racist but when I say I hate Islamism and the hate and suffering it inspires all of a sudden I'm racist

    Much of the public anger over the weekend's events has focused on some of the placards held by protesters, especially one that read: "Behead all those who insult the Prophet."

    Some of the placards were being held by young children, and they appeared to be encouraged to do so by their parents.

    Ok, apologies 😆. It was late and I was tired. You are not a racist, you are just a bigot.

    And while you complain about threatening placards, the Zionist state actually continues to kill both Christian and Muslim civilian people during a supposed ceasefire (23 yesterday).

    History can be twisted to suit most arguments. Actual dead bodies do not lie. So far, the Zionist state is responsible for more deaths than ISIS, Hamas or Hezbollah put together. Yet our 'Christian' governments continue to back or remain silent about the slaughter, assassinations, and breach of ceasefires. Where and what is our Christian ideology?
