This fucking site, I swear... I want to delete my account. But my account is blocked. I never used Facebook on another device than my PC, never on mobile. And to unlock my account to delete it, I have to... log in from another device. No other way. I tried everything, and the best is, their fucking customer centre is a useless chatbot. I hate this.
I deleted my account and it was reactivated 3 years later because they didn’t want to show less users to shareholders
wonder if you told them you moved to the EU and they needed to comply with GDPR
I thought about that, but tell who ? There is only a PO Box, so I'll have to send a letter, no mail, and only a broken chatbot in the support...

Thank you ! I'll try the hr email, that's a good idea. If it doesn't pan out I'll try a letter. It's so crazy how hidden and complex they make this process. It's clearly on purpose and evil, but nobody in the EU politics cares.
I'm in the same boat. I even tried emailing them my license. There is nothing I can do to delete my account from highschool.

Wouldn't be amazing that some kind of hacker group would delete accounts on request, as long as these accounts aren't actively used?

Just start posting a bunch of political content they don't agree with to get your account deleted.
I would like to but my account is locked. Only because I've changed my email to use an alias from a Linux device, I think it triggered a bunch of security measures. What I find crazy is now I'm completely blocked and cannot have my account deleted. My name and picture is forever stuck on this cancer of a web site.
Do you really not have access to another internet device? A friend or parent’s phone with a private browser window?
It must be a device I used to log in my Facebook account in the past 🙃... Which I never used in another device. It's crazy
