Kind of a daring food item combination, but I could see it working with the right sauce & seasonings. A little tajin might be interesting, par exemple.

    It's fine for me on desktop, altho I'm not really a huge stickler if the image isn't filled with artifacts and such. Imgur does accept large images, so there's that.

    Also, Lemmy.World itself accepts image uploads, last I checked. If they're too big, LW and any well-run instance should scale them down as appropriate.

    I typically try a direct upload. Vast majority are rejected.

    I gave up on IMGUR. I literally couldn't get signed back into my account. I tried so many times. I have 100s of albums there.

    You might want to open a ticket on that. Sounds like some part of the process is broken, there.

    I gave up on IMGUR. I literally couldn’t get signed back into my account.

    You can also upload w/o an acct if you're not worried about images eventually being deleted. Some of mine uploaded that way were deleted after 4-5mos, and others are still there after 10+yrs. Or simply create a new acct...

    Have you ever tried hot shrimp salad? It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I like it. It’s rare to find it in Asian restaurants outside of Asia though.

    Sounds good!
    In fact, I'm a big fan of hot food on salad. Part of that's because the sauce & flavors of the hot food act as a sort of dressing for the salad. Steak or salmon strips on top of salad would be a pretty slam-dunk example, but all kinds of combos are possible.
