JayzTwoCents said they didn't get CPUs either and isn't really sure if this is a "blacklist" situation. Not going to lie, Steve kinda loves being the victim lately and I can't help but feel like this is a bit sensationalist.

Performing neutral reviews of hardware and calling companies out for bad behavior is not "being the victim". Stopping to send reviews samples had a direct negative impact to these third-party reviewers so we mostly have their "trust me bro" benchmarks

I don't disagree. Does that make them "blacklisted" by AMD?

Yes that's kind of what a blacklist is...

Not getting one product that other reviewers also didn't get? I guess I had a more extreme definition of blacklist.

blacklisted is just a catch word for the youtube thumbnail and title to get people to watch but it seems you can't look past the surface

It's obvious that AMD didn't send out review samples as usual because they knew the CPU was underwhelming and ridiculously priced. That's it. Now they're being called out by reviewers using whatever attracts attention.

GN has "Blacklisted" literally on a tshirt so of course they called it blacklisting. That's their way of fighting back against AMD cherry-picking who to send out review samples to, and when, depending on whether it's in their favor. That's shady and anti-consumer and these reviewers are using their channels, thumbnails and videos to call them out.

We should be thanking them for that not whining online about how they're just victimizing themselves or whatever you seem to think.

I mean, if my comments came off as whining, then we have very different definitions of whining and blacklist.

And I don't know why you think I "can't look past" anything. I said originally that the title was a bit sensationalist, which you even seem to agree with based on your first paragraph.

No, it's not sensationalist, it's accurate, it's just worded to attract attention

It's accurate because gn was pretty much ignored by amd for a long time now, they've just not "officially" said it in a video. Hell they couldn't even get a review sample from retailers which is the icing on the cake

Funny because I watched this and did not get the sense that he was a victim at all in his telling. As he presented it was “Here’s a company being really shitty. They’ve done this to me and all these things to everyone else. They are being really bad.” He was clearly not asking for sympathy and instead calling attention to AMD’s behavior.
