I still don't understand, but now I'm a lot more interested in learning.
It helps to think of it in terms of water flow. Resistance is the size of the pipe, volts is the water pressure, and amps is the flow rate.
Although resistance is an inverse relationship to pipe size (the higer the resistance, the smaller the pipe).
