What are your ideas to make it "a lot more solarpunk"?
thanks a lot ! 😁
Well for now I'm not sure how to present this graphically.. But I would like it to be much more evident that the city is powered by green energy (solar, wind power, hydroelectric power, else), and that permaculture is present in town—or at least much more nature and biodiversity as wildlife—, that there is free access to covered places for rest, recreational activities, and community gatherings/events.
I’ve also included a tiny bit of accessibility for people with disabilities, but I’d like the representation to be clearer that the city is designed with the most vulnerable people in mind (i.e., children, the elderly), and people with limited mobility—with plenty of public transportation, bike lanes, and few cars. But for now, I have to admit I’m still stuck in my old mindset of cities where cars and verticality dominate, so it’s a bit of a mental stretch to rethink everything…
I’m trying to draw up plans for small sections of the city and it looks like a puzzle haha
Edit : Also I'm very up to any advice or ideas, so if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to share them
