Because of it is pointless to say something like this without understanding terms "nazism" and "nationalism". In Ukraine there are Nationalists, not Nazis.
Nationalists care about their culture, suvernity and national interests. But, in the same time, they aren't racists and authoritarians. They don't oppress minorities, don't invade in other countries. Core idea: they don't mind other nations for as long as they're not attacking their home, culture, suvernity.
Nazis, on the other hand, are racist and authoritarian militaristic groups, that hate others and think that only they are superior. They have dictatorship regimes, state controls all the society. They invade other countries, perform genocide.
Ukrainians were OK about Russians do whatever they want in Russia, be non-repressed minority in Ukraine and coexist as independent friendly country, that does inside itself what it wants, joins whatever union of countries it wants without asking Russia a permission.
But Russian government wanted Ukraine as a state puppet to control and use it. Ukrainians said no and started resisting it by showing Nationalism - protecting their suvernity. Russian government, as I agree, tried to force Ukraine into submission peacefully at first, but failed, so then it got angry, gaslighted russians into thinking that Ukraine is bad and invaded it. Moreover, because of Russian government failed their initial military operation, they started targeting civilians on both occupied and non-occupied territories of Ukraine(it is pointless to deny this fact, because of no matter if Russian military intentionally does it or it just has terrible aim, the fact of attacking civilians exists for years already).
Basically, the similar situation then appeared in actions of Israel in Gaza and other regions, which others call Nazism. So, it looks like Russia checks suspiciously a lot of boxes in the Nazism description, don't you think?
I am not going to label anyone Nazi, but I'm tired of seeing that others do this labeling simply by repeating by someone else without analyzing what they are saying.
So, the problem with this post is that these are Ukrainian Nationalists, who use any military force available to defend themselves from Russian invasion, not Nazis. Call things by their names, please.
