Meds can definitely do that to ya. I’ve been there. My theory is that any dreams that come about while taking no-dreams pills aren’t connected to your psyche in the same way. I used to be able to get really good introspection from dream analysis but when i’m on the pills it’s like my dreams are just a funhouse mirror put to whatever I watched on tv before bed.
I also think it's because I get barely any real sleep now. I used to sleep well but now because of side effects from the meds plus bladder issues I struggle to drift off at all and when I finally do I have to keep waking up to go to the toilet. There's just no opportunity to dream usually. It's a shame because I used to love my vivid dreams and even kept a dream diary.
