[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 36 points 5 months ago* (3 children) The gesture is nice. The gift itself is impractical/useless and I don't really like the smell of most flowers. 😔 Give me the next best thing: Yummy fruit basket. permalink fedilink source hideshow 6 child comments replies: [+] pennomi@lemmy.world 25 points 5 months ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 child) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] TheTechnician27@lemmy.world 9 points 5 months ago "This can make so much fucking herbal tea." permalink fedilink source parent [–] kersploosh@sh.itjust.works 8 points 5 months ago (2 children) Bring a decent bar of dark chocolate and compliment my shirt and I'm yours. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 2 points 5 months ago I don't know what kind of dark chocolate compliments shirt, but there's probably an expert who can help. permalink fedilink source parent [–] AnarchistArtificer@slrpnk.net 1 point 5 months ago (1 child) You sound like someone who has nice shirts. Which is your favourite? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] kersploosh@sh.itjust.works 2 points 5 months ago Depends on the season. In winter it's a vintage 1980's shirt-jacket thing that I found in my dad's storage closet: red/black plaid, soft flannel exterior, thinly insulated. My parents had matching shirts and dad's old one fits me perfectly. Pretty soon my favorite will be a thin blue cotton-linen button-down that's perfect for hot summer days. And it goes well with my big straw shade hat. Thanks for asking. 😁 permalink fedilink source parent [–] chonglibloodsport@lemmy.world 1 point 5 months ago I have received one of those fruit arrangements that looks like flowers. Does that count? permalink fedilink source parent
