Higher level languages are where? (programming.dev)

I'm looking at development tools state and are surprised there are no higher level languages officially supported. From what I read, there are only C/C++ and QT on low level side and interpreted Python on higher end. Or am I missing something?

If there were to be apps on this OS/Phone, a proper business level languages are critical (thinking .NET/C#, Kotlin, Swift and such, perhaps even Rust).

There's an official statement from Jolla in 2020 stating that they will improve Rust support. However, I must admit that I can't find anything in the docs.

I know that Whisperfish is working with Jolla to have it distributed via the official store. In my view, this would confirm official support.

I don't know about qt bindings support. I just started an app that uses a Rust library from C++/QML.
