Hah! Before smart phones I used to sit on the toilet just as long as I do now reading magazines or books.

Never had haemorroids.

    The bathroom was the only place my family would give me even a moments rest. I used to hide in there just so I could disengage my brain for 15 mins. Then my mom decided I was doing something nefarious in there and she'd fucking sit outside the bathroom blabbering incessantly to try to drive me out.

    Exactly. It's going to take me 30 minutes to an hour to get it all out, regardless of whether or not I have reading material with me, so I rather have something to do than sit there bored.

    Yes I've tried increasing my fiber intake. Doesn't work. Told my doctor and he wasn't interested.
