If you're already willing to move states and be completely submissive to an unknown atranger, why not try getting a citizenship marriage somewhere(Canada is closest and most of your cultural and language background will transfer but whatever works for you). If the slavery is a deal breaker im sure that won't be difficult to work into the conversation. Just something to think about.
