I genuinely think that more than 2/3rds of US citizens don't even believe in thrse headlines anymore. Like, it becomes more and more rare for me to meet people who trust anything out of legacy media.

    Nah there are a lot of people who only read a headline and do so with their brains turned off

    Can confirm this is unfortunately very common. I see a lot of people just scroll through news on their phones, liking and sharing article after article based on headline alone without even bothering to actually click on it and read a single word. It's like you're watching zombies.
