    I don't engage with BE (the youtuber here) but I can attest to Bernie being a liberal Zionist, he has consistently voted for more Israel funding, he avoided calling the genocide a genocide until the UN said it is one (even though multiple experts already said so and we could watch it live), even when he accepted it's a genocide he still tried to focus on the rhetoric that this is all Hamas' fault and he only opposes Netanyahu, not Zionism as a whole.

    GDF made a good video on the topic called The Bernie Sanders Betrayal. I'm not a fan of GDF because he believes the tail wags the dog and overlooks evidence pointing in a different direction, but that video is good.

    This was specifically about Bad Empenada being a reactionary piece of shit. I don't care to watch his video, plenty of people have said the same about Sanders, you don't have to use a reactionary source just because its a broken clock moment.

    Geneva, please stop saying this. Please stop saying that fucking anyone on hexbear has "favorite breadtubers". We don't. I haven't seen anyone say anything positive about breadtube in literally years!

    It's also just not true that BadEmpanada is the only person "pushing the envelope" in calling zionists zionists. I have heard Bernie Sanders (correctly) called a zionist so, so many times by so many people on the internet, I just don't understand how you can keep claiming that "only" BadEmpanada is doing so. Clearly not!

    Platner is a war criminal nazi. He fucking sucks. That's a bottom barrel take, BE doesn't have a monopoly on that one. It was obvious even before influencers started bickering over it.

    BE, despite being in the right on some issues where other westerners aren't, is a piece of shit in his own way, and we don't need to defend him for that.

    What does any of this have to do with Platner glazing? I find it highly suspect that TheDeprogram was defending Platner, that just doesn't make sense to me, but I don't follow that shit, so maybe? But what I do know is not true is the claim that anyone on hexbear let alone hexbear as a community has anything but disgust for that piece of shit Platner or would care about you "calling out" some other podcast for defending him. That is something hexbear would agree with you on. Do you actually think that what you're claiming as the reason for your ban is true (if so, you're deeply mistaken), or are you just making up shit to deflect from your transphobia which was the real reason for your ban?

    Actually my bad I'm mixing up TheDeprogram's recent caving to Liberalism with ChapoTrapHouse's Graham Platner simping a few months ago.

    So ChapoTrapHouse did a podcast with Graham Platner glorifying him as a mass murderer without any pushback

    BadEmpanada made a video calling out ChapoTraphouse, I think I posted this one or another video he made about it on the ChapoTrapHouse community, and the only reactions to it were "BE posted a mean tweet about trans people a year ago. Stop calling out our precious ChapoTrapHouse influencers glorifying mass murder"

    However, looking through your mod log, that's not what I saw. What I saw was a temp ban from 3 months ago, with the following ban reason: "stop promoting zionism by conflating zionism with jewishness". Is this the ban you're referencing?

    Oh, and I should add (because if I don't, you'll assume I'm a Platner stan, which I very much am not): fuck Platner, gleeful war criminal piece of shit. I also haven't listened to The Deprogram in literal years

    No I fucking agreed with him being a Zionist in this thread I didnt even know it was a BadEmpanada video and when I saw someone else mention him I just said "oh fuck that transphobic piece of shit.

    Plenty of people call Sanders out on here all the time we don't need a reactionary ashore to tell us about Sanders terrible record.

    Sure but I've read almost every reason on both sides.

    At the start of the genocide in Gaza I was wondering who was wagging the dog and I concluded the Mearsheimer/GDF angle was the correct one in the end. BE even made a video "debunking" GDF and it was basically just "that's antisemitic" (which is even more hillarious in hindsight)

    The Qatar bombing by Israel sealed it for me. With it becoming even more obvious by the day that Israel is in charge with the Iran invasion.

    But feel free to leave some insights or even a link to a video or post you think explains it well. I'm open to change my mind if good evidence is presented.
