Trying to escape from a chase with the car half caved in, full of bullet holes. The driving was so fun. permalink fedilink source parent [–] AstralPath@lemmy.ca 4 points 7 months ago (2 children) The amazing vehicle everything physics. The best driving there was in any game outside the simcade titles like Gran Turismo/Forza. It wasn't crazy realistic but it was realistic enough to be believable and very fun. Poor driving had consequences in that game. Felt legit as hell. I loved the floaty commuter car suspensions haha permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] HexagonSun@lemmy.zip 3 points 7 months ago (1 child) I truly adored the vehicle physics in that game. Getting into a car in GTA V was probably the most disappointing gaming moment in my life. I never liked GTA V all that much, solely due to that. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] AstralPath@lemmy.ca 2 points 6 months ago Yup. I could tell by the trailers that it was completely different and super arcadey. I waited to play it at a friend's house before considering buying it and once I felt the driving for the first time, I never touched the game again. It just killed so much of the fun for me. permalink fedilink source parent
