Feel like I have to watch Uncut Gems before Marty Supreme because I've heard them compared to each other a lot.

FWIW, Uncut Gems is my favorite of the Safdie Good Time/Uncut Gems/Marty Supreme trio of movies.

Benny wasn't involved in Marty Supreme as far as I know. I think it was Josh's solo project after the split. Uncut Gems is fantastic.

Eh. They're directed by the same directors. Other than that they're unrelated. That's like saying you have to watch Star Wars to understand Indiana Jones.
