I don't want to complain too much since in all honesty this isn't even remotely a serious enough topic. As I've gotten more and more educated in ML and adjascent knowledge, I've tried explaining to people my views, why they make sense and how they apply to the urrent world we live in. I push back when people claim outrageous things and I get mocked in return and called a fool. Not being taken serious is harder than I thought and I knew this would happen kind of, but never expected for people, family, friends to actively not take any of this seriously. Should I just accept that ML views are so radical that people don't even want to hear them? Or should I push forward?

EDIT: Thank you everyone for your comments, it's gotten clear to me that I was too aggressive and wasn't using the right approach when talking about certain things, I auto assumed the other person would receive what I'm talking about with open arms which was the wrong course of action. Will adjust my framing and discussion to meet the person halfway next time.

Never give up comrade but take a new approachs until you find something that works.

Ive found some limited success with having my friends and family predict what they think is going to happen and why. I then constantly repeating their claims so they cant forget and pointing out how they were predictably wrong. I mock the fuck out of them for it. Ive lost friends doing this too.

For example i had republicans and democrats alike predict that biden would pack the court, bring about universal healthcare, resign to make kamala president during his first term or that trump would fix inflation. These were all pretty obviously not gonna happen to me. Why would the bourgeoisie do any of these things? So i honed in on how stupid these predictions are and how dumb they were for not questioning the underlying assumptions that lead them tk belive these things.

I readicalized a former libertarian pretty well this way. I find anyone who isnt just team dem or team republican are easier to reach.

Its an uphill battle most people are so full of propoganda and thought terminating cliches that it feels impossible to get to them. The cia has a head start and way more funding but they wouldnt be trying so hard to continue their propoganda if they thought they couldnt lose.

Idk comrade i hope this helps or gives you a better idea.

resign to make kamala president during his first term

I 1000000% thought that would happen. I thought that was the plan going in.

Lol you and half the prople I know. I just dont get why? He didnt really have an incentive too.

It took ao much additional pressue for him to dropp out of the next race too ans afterwards it seemes like he tried to sabotage kamala with the timing of alot of his isreal related shenanigans.

I always assume the rich and politicans are selfish children and their actions will reflect that. Does alot of good for my predictive power

Because as much as everybody on hexbear likes to shit on Bernie and pretend he's literally as bad as the rest of the democrats there was a very real effort to have anybody but Bernie win the primary, and Biden just happened to luck out into being the one the rest of the shitlibs coalesced behind

it always seemed like The Democrats wanted Kamala Harris or Buttigieg, though, and especially making her VP despite her being the First Place Loser of the Primary (not even winning her own state) made it seem like that was The Plan, have Biden win the election and then mumble some stuff about health issues before handing it off to The Anointed One

I didn't expect Biden (or his handlers, depending on how dementia addled he actually was) to give a shit about him personally being President
