Maybe the gulf war could be argued, but they got what they wanted out of it [and the war basically only ended by technicalities. It was more like there was a decade long "truce" where America got to starve Iraqis via sanctions] Edit: but I do wanna say that I'm not expecting this to be the end of it. Obviously.
