Okay, let me explain, like I would explain to a pigeon:

  1. He would win the popular vote, as per article you linked
  2. His approval ratings are incredibly high (67%)

I don't know what you don't understand. If there's an apple, a banana and a pear, and most people pick an apple, it doesn't mean they hate bananas or pears.

This is where the approval rating comes in.

Do you like the fruit you got? Yes/no. This is the statistic that shows WHETHER PEOPLE LIKE IT OR NOT
