A non-iPhone user has had to replace more cables during the same time span, and that’s not even counting the proprietary cables that existed on phones in the 2007-2009 era. Thunderbolt cables are expensive, even at Monoprice they are 3-4x the cost of a USB 2.0 cable that the vast majority will never need anything better. permalink fedilink source parent
