I'm not sure where to put this report, but I was playing as a warlock and I tried to use the scroll of transmutation when I reached floor 22, but when I tried to use it on my rose, after 4 attempts it turned into a level 2 ring (my item was level 10) I'm not sure if that's a hidden mechanic, but I wanted to report it.

Not a bug. Artifacts only appear once in a dungeon. Transmuting the last generated artifact will produce a ring instead.

Note that even artifacts from crystal chests count, even if you didn't open it.
