Merino really does deserve more credit than he gets. Last season he started playing in a brand new position - striker no less - because we were desperately short on options. No fuss or drama from him, and for the most part he delivered. He's been a real asset to the squad.

And great to see Dowman get more incentive to show him why he's at the right club. He's living the dream - getting minutes at such a young age and backing everyone, all for the club he's a fan of.
