I think honesty is one of the most important virtues of communism ("Communists disdain to conceal their views") but that doesn't mean you can't fuck with these reactionaries by pushing hard on their flimsy epistemology and motivated reasoning. I'd just like to suggest that it is done by explaining that their shitty evidence is circumstantial or ambiguously proving the opposite of their claim.
